Oct 26th and 27th.

Tuesday was busy. Dan went to have another stress test. I took Yumi and Danni to run some errands. Then we came back to Dinwiddie and spent some time last night grinding up meat and browning it and putting in freezer bags to take back to Logan to make chili with. Finished up last night about 10.
Wednesday we got up and started packing the trailer. It was hot and humid hear in Dinwiddie. We stopped and had lunch with our pastor and dear friend here, Rev. Robert Rowland. We talked about things going on here and things going on in Logan. We have planned a trip for them to come and visit us the first week in December. We are looking forward to spending a few days with them ministering to the people in the Logan area. We came back home and finished packing the trailer so that we will be ready to leave on Friday. Then we went to evening service at Smyrna. It was great to worship with our Smyrna family again.

Oct 25th

Another long day. Dan and I squeeze alot in the schedule when we get a chance to be in Virgina. We did sleep in this morning, because we had a 11:00 doctor appointment and had have blood work. Didn't want to get to early of a start on an empty stomach. Picked up Yumi and Danni for lunch at the Chinese Buffet. Loved it. it was worth the fasting for breakfast. We took them home and then went to the christian book store. Meet a dear friend in the parking lot, Bonnie Conley, hadn't seen her in 4 years. We bought a couple of new sound tracks that we have been wanting. Then we returned back to see our son Andy, he had been out of town with his job and will be leaving again in the morning. won't get to see him again this trip. spent about an hour with him. Then we drove to Crowder Memorial to meet with the youth leaders about a trip next summer to Logan, WV. We had a wonderful time getting to know them. We are looking forward to them coming and being with us soon to check us out and see NCF for themselves. NCF stands for New Covenant Fellowship for those who are not familar with where we are. got back home at about 9:30, glad we didn't start until about 9:30 this morning.  another long day tomorrow.

October 13th

It has been a long day. Started with a 2 mile walk this morning with Cindy Minney in the park. Then off to rent a carpet cleaner. Six of us tackled the parsonage to clean and get ready for the new youth pastor and his wife. They should arrive late tomorrow evening. We cleaned carpets, washed windows. washed out kitchen cabinets and lined the shelves, and cleaned the bathrooms. Then i finished the ham soup for our Wednesday night dinner. Bible study and now home and ready to go to bed. Still have to do 2 reports for tomorrow and send to the association office and Smyrna Church. Dan cleaned the caulking from around the bathroom tub and then trimmed some trees from the roof. The weather was beautiful today. Our leaves are just starting to change here. It is a little behind this year. Love you all. Take care and God bless you all.
