Monday

We had a wonderful service at New Covenant yesterday. Barb Harden came and she did a special for us. Dan did the message and it was a good one. Then we went to HarborLight for the evening service. We got home about 9:30. We went to back to the gym today. I swam for 35 minutes and did 750 meters. It felt good to get back to some exercising. trying to get things organized in the church office. still trying to finish up tax things also. want to have everything ready by friday. call it an early night.

Saturday

Been busy today, trying to get my tax receipts all together. I need to be better to keep these things together through the year. Going to start out different this year. HaHa. I am trying with God's help i will be able to do it. Dan is getting his message together for tomorrow and Sunday School Class. We have picked out the music. Not sure how many will be there tomorrow. It is cold and still have a little snow on the ground. Please continue to pray for our son in law, Roger. He had gall bladder surgery on Friday and is not feeling well yet today. We appreciate every ones prayers for us and our family. We will have a full day tomorrow with Church at New Covenant Fellowship and HarborLight in Oceana tomorrow evening. Will try to post tomorrow night about what God has done through the day. I started out the day in a new bible study. Dan and I started one 3 years ago, but never finished it. I have pulled it out and started it again from the beginning. It is called Changed In His Image. It is a really good one. I will be spending some more time in His word and allowing Him to change me as He sees fit.

January 25th, 2013

Done for the evening, We had snow today, about and inch. They let schools out at 10 am and what a mess trying to get them home. But we made it safe and sound with our the students. Yesterday I didn't have to work, which was a blessing, because it was my week to cook. We had turkery soup, hot rolls and banana and pumpkin muffins. It was cold out, we only had about 25 since a lot of them walk. There was more than that in the closthes closet. Not everyone one comes over to eat. We only had 4 for Wednesday night Bible Study. Our Pastor Ron Chambers went back to the dr. yesterday and he put him on complete bed rest for 2 weeks. He wants he feet and legs elevated so that the swelling will go down. Please continue to pray for him, as he is feeling better now and doesn't want to be in the bed.

It has been a long time since i blogged. We have done a lot this past year. I will try to be a little bit better at getting back into updating the blog on a daily basis. We are having some really cold artic air here. We would ask that you be in prayer for our Pastor Ron Chambers. He has been sick and out of church for the past 6 weeks. Dan has been filling in for him. We went to our cabin with the kids and grandkids for Christmas. We had a snow storm and it kept our daugther and her family from coming to spend time with us. we missed having them with us. We did get to enjoy the snow with the others. Since I last blogged I have starting working again, I am now driving school bus for the Logan County Schools. This leaves Dan by himself some during the day. He doesn't like to have me gone, we had been together since he retired for 6 years. Our first teams will be coming in the first week of March. That is not far off. Dan and I are still working on Sunday evenings at HarborLight in Oceana. Please also pray for Jim and Grace Davis. They are missionaries at HarborLight. Pray for spiritual growth at HarborLight and that God would bring them some adults. Good night for now.
